About
Exodus Outreach, Inc. (EOI) is a ministry of Union Baptist Church, Buford, GA, and pastor/founder, Dr. Kary E. Harris. EOI serves the Buford, Gwinnett and metro-Atlanta, Georgia communities. Dr. Harris also serves at the president of Exodus Outreach, as well as various civic and professional activities in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Pastor Harris received his Bachelor of Theology degree from Anchor Theological Seminary, Texarkana, Arkansas and his Master of Theology degree from Emmanuel Bible College Theological Seminary, Macon, Georgia. Pastor Harris also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Emmanuel Bible College Theological Seminary.
EOI consists of a weekly food bank, an educational program, and has worked in partnership with the City of Atlanta Chaplaincy Corps to provide food, clothing, and other personal items to the homeless men and women of downtown Atlanta.
EOI’s annual summer program is a free service to students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The program is directed by certified teachers and administrators.
Classes are taught by certified teachers and hot meals are provided for breakfast and lunch. Educational field trips are taken to colleges, businesses, and many guest speakers are invited to share their careers with the students.
EOI’s weekly food bank serves 30,000 families per year.
EOI’s international ministry has been instrumental in providing generators that supplied lighting for villages in Ethiopia. In addition, clothing was given to village children so that they could attend school.
